We would like to inform you about the title of our journal, which has previously been entitled "Journal of the Japan Explosives Society".

Energetic materials scientists in the world are certainly encouraged to consider submitting manuscripts for the new journal!

Japan Explosives Society was founded in 1939 to serve as a forum for both academic and industrial scientists.
For more than 75 years, the Journal of the Japan Explosives Society has been published to develop fundamental and applied studies on explosives.
In the beginning of the 21st century, we have decided to the change the title of the journal as a truly international journal exploring the full range of lresearches relevant to explosives.
The journal contains articles about energetic materials and various phenomena caused by energetic materials, e.g. detonation, deflagration, thermal explosion, shock wave, high pressure, runaway reaction, etc.
