Proceedings
Symposium proceedings will be published in the special issue of "Science and Technology of Energetic Materials", which is in the journal of the Japan Explosives Society. Presentation of the paper at this Symposium is required for inclusion in the journal.
Instructions for writing papers have been up on the web,

Manuscript due will be 27 May, 2005. Please submit your papers at the registration desk.
Submit one original and one copy of your papers to the registration desk. The authors will be required to submit the digital files of the manuscript in MS Word format. Figures and tables in an MS Word format can also be accepted.

Information for oral presentations
The oral presentation time will be 20 minutes including discussion time.
The liquid crystal display (LCD) projectors, the multimedia projector that will be offered by Nippon Avionics Co., Ltd. (http://www.avio.co.jp), which is prepared as the equipment for presentations. They can project your presentation directly from a personal computer (such as Microsoft PowerPoint presentation), and can also project a printed matter.
Please read the following notice, and cooperate in the smooth expediting of the symposium.

The method of the presentation will be limited to two following methods;
   1. Presentation using the multimedia (LCD) projectors.
   2. Presentation using printed materials on papers.
Please let us know which method you will use, and whether you will use your computer or not.
* The overhead projector will not be prepared. Although the multimedia projector can project a transparency sheet, the projected images can possibly be doubled with our experience. In case of digital file or computer trouble, prepare printed materials on normal papers in case of.
* You can use your computer in your presentation. However, if the trouble happens on your computer or in the compatibility of the connection to the multimedia projector, compensation measures such as the extension in the time will not be taken. In that case, adjust it in your presentation time. And certainly the operation and connection that you will use in your presentation should be confirmed in the conference room prior to your presentation, before the morning session or during lunch break.
1. Notice for presentation using the multimedia projectors
Preparation
  If you use the computer prepared at the conference room, make the materials in Microsoft PowerPoint. PowerPoint2003 on WindowsXP (Japanese version) will be set up.
The printed materials should be prepared on normal papers in case of digital file or computer trouble.
Registration
  Finish the presenter's registration before the start of your session, and inform us that the presentation will be done using the multimedia projector, and whether you will bring your computer or not.
Confirm the operation and connection that you will use in your prior to your presentation, before the morning session or during lunch break. It can be done at the conference room.
Bring a backup file saved in a USB memory or CD-R.
USB ports and CD drives will be available, but floppy or MO drives will not.
Presentation
  Start your computer before your presentation.
The time for connecting the computer to the multimedia projector will be included for your presentation time.
If there are any troubles on your presentation file or the computer, you may have to arrange your presentation immediately to use the prepared printed materials.
2. Notice for presentation using printed materials on papers
Preparation
  Make materials on A4 size papers in the same way as making transparency sheets, the size of characters and figures, etc.
Bring materials printed on A4 size normal papers with you.
Registration
  Finish the presenter's registration before the start of your session then inform us that the presentation will be done using printed materials.
Presentation
  Hand your materials to the person in charge of the projection in your presentation.

Information for poster presentations
Poster sessions will be held at the Exhibition Hall (1F). The poster sessions will take place twice in the symposium. You may present your papers either or both session hours.
The size of the poster for each presentations is limited to "900mm x 1200mm" (A0 size). You can choose the way of width and height within the A0 size.
Put up your posters before the poster session (1) which will be stared from 16:10, May 26. The placements of your posters will be marked on the top of the panels with the numbers of your presentations and papers, e.g. P-XX(A-XX). You will find the numbers of your presentations and papers in the symposium program.
Please remove them after the poster session (2) which will be closed 13:40, May 27.
The panels and walls of the Exhibition Hall are prohibited to use adhesive tapes. You may use drawing pins to put up your posters. The drawing pins will be provided at the Exhibition Hall.
